Well known for filming his adventures on canals and rivers for BBC and YouTube, Robbie’s first passion is making music.

Robbie has been writing, recording and even designing the artwork for his songs since age 14.  After gigging and recording with several unsigned bands Robbie bought a canal boat and started creating vlogs on YouTube.  He needed music for the soundtrack so set to making his own - using only a mobile phone and his acoustic guitar.  His videos became so popular that the BBC commissioned him to make a TV series all about his life on the boat - with the musical score heavily featuring Robbie's instrumentals.

Robbie plays guitar, bass, keys and drums on all of his tracks - which are written, recorded and produced by himself aboard his narrowboat home.  His music could be described as 'synth folk' or even 'folk wave' as he often combines synthesised piano with dance beats and looped guitar picking. Influenced by everyone from Depeche Mode to Dr Dre, Robbie’s ‘choons’ focus on harmonising picked guitars with deep synths and a strong head-noddable beat.
